Vyas Institute of Management (VIM) has come up as one of the most distinguished B-schools in western Rajasthan. VIM is a constituent of Vyas Institutes of Higher Education (VIHE) which is a premier initiative by Rajasthan Vikas Sansthan (RVS) towards facilitating higher education in the Sun City, Jodhpur. Vyas Institute of Management started its two year MBA programme from the academic year 2006-2007 with a vision to create a centre of academic excellence in the field of management. This MBA programme is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. It is a two years full time programme. The programme offers dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management and Information Technology. Initial intake of students was 60 however; at present intake of students is 90.

The vision of VIM is to strive to achieve leadership position in management education by facilitating learning and holistic development of students through providing the most effective resources and environment.

The mission of the institute of is to provide world class quality management education at affordable cost. VIM aims to be a learning organization which will use measuring and monitoring tools to continually enhance the effectiveness of its education and processes, thereby to differentiate itself as an institution that is continually renewing and transforming itself to meet the changing needs of industry.

VIM runs with the objective to undertake business process re-engineering with a view to move towards excellence. Innovation and creative restlessness are the two hallmarks of VIM. This is imperative in order to survive in an increasingly globalized and competitive environment.
