The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery provides diagnosis, surgical treatment and management of surgical problems of face, jaws and mouth. The department is involved in training and practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery. The department also offers post graduate program in oral and maxillofacial surgery preparing the candidate for a fulfilling career in this branch. Our department facilitates innovation, collaboration and free interaction for global development of students, faculty and maxillofacial surgery. The department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offers highly qualified and well experienced facultyand other various facilities like UG section, PG section, Sterilization room, Minor OT, Recovery room, Seminar room, Major OT associated with Hospital, PG room, Department Library and Lockers in PG room.
As part of the undergraduate training, the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery imparts both theoretical knowledge and clinical learning through an integrated programme consisting of interactive lectures, seminars, presentations, demonstration and hands-on experience, Clinical skills are developed through chair side discussions and supervised clinical work on patients.
